Project Overview
Tile Installation Denver – How We Delivered Museum-Quality Results
To begin, our team focused on addressing the underlying issues with meticulous attention to detail. The existing floors showed signs of curling and unevenness, which we resolved through expert preparation to ensure a level surface. This step was essential for the successful installation of the porcelain tile, which demands a perfectly even base. As part of our comprehensive tile installation Denver clients can count on, we also applied a moisture vapor barrier to achieve effective concrete moisture mitigation, protecting the integrity of the flooring long-term. With the groundwork complete, we proceeded to lay the porcelain tiles—known for their difficulty and precision requirements. Despite the challenges, the final result is nothing short of breathtaking, with each tile flawlessly set to reflect the high standards of True Finishing’s craftsmanship.
Project features a complex large-format tile installation on a concrete slab.
True Finishing overcame multiple challenges due to uneven surfaces to provide stunning tile installation results. We also provided multiple flooring solutions for several different areas to the space, including polished concrete, carpet tile, moisture barrier treatments, all while ensuring durability for heavy use.

The Challenge
Uneven floors and varietal surface conditions.
Denver Tile Installation That Handles Every Detail – Even the Toughest Tiles.
Request for Service
The initial flooring challenge to overcome stemmed from some hesitation to proceed with the original tile selection due to manufacturer defects. The concrete slab in the museum had extensive curling, creating a wavy surface that would impede proper tile installation. Additionally, the project required a high level of finish in different spaces, from the museum to the office and banquet areas.

Stunning Results
After addressing the defective materials, the team shifted to a 2×4-foot black porcelain tile. To ensure a stable installation, we ground down the joints and flattened the slab. A crack isolation and moisture vapor barrier were applied for additional durability. Epoxy grout was used for its strength, while polished concrete and carpet tiles were expertly installed in the warehouse, offices, and banquet areas. The entire project spanned 3-4 months and resulted in a smooth, high-quality finish, seamlessly applied across all environments.
