Project Overview
Large improvement project involving extreme leveling of the concrete floor and installing a range of flooring types.
This was a tenant improvement project and it involved significant challenges and improvements in concrete leveling, in to provide proper floor preparation prior to installing a range of flooring types. The project aimed to create a modern retail space with a combination of Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and tile in key areas, which ultimately turned out stunning.

The concrete floor had severe curling issues, which required a heat map analysis to identify high points. Without leveling the floor properly, the LVT installation would have failed. Additionally, the project needed to seamlessly integrate multiple flooring types, including LVT in different colors, rubber base, and porcelain tile in the bathrooms.
Stunning Results
Our team of experts ground down the high points and used a leveling compound to ensure the floor was flat and ready for installation. They installed two different colors of LVT with a raceway design, along with rubber baseboards. Porcelain tile was installed in the bathrooms with accent bands, while the concrete in back-of-house areas was sealed to protect against wear.After addressing the defective materials, the team shifted to a 2×4-foot black porcelain tile. To ensure a stable installation, we ground down the joints and flattened the slab. A crack isolation and moisture vapor barrier were applied for additional durability. Epoxy grout was used for its strength, while polished concrete and carpet tiles were expertly installed in the warehouse, offices, and banquet areas. The entire project spanned 3-4 months and resulted in a smooth, high-quality finish, seamlessly applied across all environments.
